Paul Leo Houde, 75, of Williamsburg, VA, passed away on June 11, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Veronica Houde; his sisters, Nancy Saari and Brenda Houde; and his parents, Paul and Vinnie Houde.
A 1970 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Paul served in the Navy for 20 years before finishing his career in high school education as a principal and administrator. He was an avid traveler, and huge fan of the Minnesota Vikings, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Minnesota Twins, and Manchester City F.C. He was also a frequent patron of Oceans and Ale in Williamsburg, but most of all, a loving Pap to his granddaughter.
He will be missed by his son, Paul Houde, and granddaughter, Addyson, as well as many other friends and relatives.
A visitation will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg on Monday, June 24 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Interment in Arlington National Cemetery will take place at a time to be determined.
